| What's an Exchange? |
A SeeYouThen Exchange is a "group" website that literally takes two minutes to create. It was designed to help connect people (groups) together around a large event, team, group, etc.
SeeYouThen is a community of these exchanges. Think about how many different private social groups that you belong to or associate with. Some you may be intimately involved in planning or some you may just be participating. That's how SeeYouThen is setup. You can own or participate in multiple social exchange websites. For example, a wedding is a group of 250+ individuals that are attending the same events and celebrating together. An exchange helps them to come together online and share their personal perspectives.
The best way to fully understand how it works is to create one and invite a few friends to upload some photos into it or join a friend's exchange. It takes only 2 minutes to create one.

SeeYouThen is designed for groups of people to come together privately. An exchange is typically made up of people that you already know and connect with "personally", but would like a way to connect the group online as well.
There is a section for your own personal photos, but the "awesomeness" is in the exchanges.
Private and personalized websites for only those that you invite.
Personal Public Photo Sharing sites assume that the user has the original, print quality photo, on their computer. When you have multiple people (many times up to 50) uploading from their cameras and computers, the high-resolution photos are only on their computers, not yours. SeeYouThen gets them all to one spot so that everyone can have access!
Privacy and Security:
You won't find your private photos on a random Google Search. Google image search cannot search inside of your SeeYouThen Exchange. Your group or event photos deserve a private and personalized location to collect and exchange them!

| Why do my friends and family have to register? |
Its a group website: Individuals that are associated through an event, group, club, etc.
Everyone has their own private profile: As a part of the group, everyone can interact individually as a member.
For your Privacy: As an exchange owner you can control who can contribute or join your exchange.
Members can contribute their photos, comments, etc. Thank those that participate and contribute!
It's social and fun! All your friends, family and guests have their own profile in your exchange, so you know who registers to your exchange, who uploads and downloads your high resolution photos. Send everyone (friends, family and guests) an invitation to join and contribute to your exchange. It's a pre-party, social event that is fun for everyone! You can choose which photos get placed on Social Networking sites, but only if you choose. Only those that you invite are allowed to see and exchange.

Can this replace disposable, one time use
cameras that are typically used at a wedding reception? |
Absolutely Yes! For every party, shower or event! It amazes us everytime we hear of people still using "one time use" disposable cameras to capture their priceless memories. They spend 100's of dollars and they are only typically used at one event. Ten years ago this made sense, but give away low quality film cameras when practically everyone you invite has a multi-megapixel digital camera at their disposable?
Why provide a low quality disposable camera when in 2010 almost every guest owns or has access to a high quality digital camera? You'll only receive prints (and potentially a CD of the low quality images).
